A Key to Home Based Business Success!

People often ask me if I had to name one thing that played a major part in achieving success in my home based business, what would it be. This question brings a few obvious things to mind. For example, you must have a burning desire to succeed. A strong work ethic is essential. Being coachable and teachable would also make the list.

However, even if you possess all three of these admirable traits, if you don’t have a coach or mentor who can guide you down the path, you are likely to fail. In other words, if you are not learning the business from someone who has already achieved what it is you are looking for, the odds are not in your favor. Even if you do succeed, it will likely take you much longer than if you had a mentor working with you.

How do I know this you may ask? Because when I entered the Network Marketing Industry 6 years ago as a newbie, I was very fortunate to be mentored by someone who had already earned millions in the Industry. If it weren’t for the coaching and mentoring over the years, I really believe I would have been one of those statistics that no one wants to be. In other words, it’s ok to be a copy cat, just make sure you’re copying the right cat! By copying the right cat, I was earning a multiple six figure income from home after just 3 years.

Hitch your wagon to a star and earn their time. I’m telling you this is so important. I can’t emphasize it enough. We have to realize that if we knew how to do it ourselves, we would have already done it, right? Often times I see people letting their egos get in the way of their own success because they feel they have to know it all. That is a recipe for failure in the Home Business Industry.
